Darrell Ray Copeland

Darrell Ray Copeland, age 60, of Bella Vista, AR died Wednesday, April 15, 2026. He was born in Oakland, California to Gail and Charles Copeland on June 30, 1965.
Darrell grew up while his dad served in the United States Navy, so had the privilege of travelling throughout the U.S. and living coast to coast. He took his first steps in Hawaii, started school in South Texas, and enjoyed some of his teen years in Southern California.
Darrell graduated from Rogers High School in 1984 and decided to serve his country in the United States Air Force. He proudly served during Operation Desert Storm and was stationed at the Pope Air Force Base and Fort Bragg for 6 years.
After his honorable discharge, he returned to northwest Arkansas, which he called home base throughout the rest of his life. A professional highlight was travelling to help open the first SAMs store in China.
Darrell was preceded in death by his grandparents J.V. and Alice Copeland, and Alfred and Carol Guinette. He is survived by his two daughters, Amber Feldman and Kristina Copeland and three grandsons. He is also survived by his parents, Charles and Gail Copeland, along with sister Sherill (Jim) Eggenschwiler and brother Terrel (Tammy) Copeland, along with many nieces and nephews. Left to also cherish his memory is his best friend of 20 years, Tobey Daily.
A celebration of Darrell's life will be held at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma on Friday, April 24 at 11am.
