Frances "Frankie" Ann Friederich

Frances “Frankie” Ann Friederich, born November 1, 1947, in Stamford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026. Frankie was the beloved daughter of Edward and Josephine Maksimowicz.

She graduated from Chanute High School in 1965 and attended Neosho County Community College.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Friederich and his wife, Tammy, and Jason Friederich and his wife, Jenni; her grandchildren, Justin, Britney, Amanda, Carly, Laura, and Alex; and her great-grandchildren, Madison, Peyton, Emma, Cooper, Wesley, and James.

She is also survived by her brothers, Ed Maksimowicz and his wife, Marianne; John Maksimowicz and his wife, Sheila; and Stephen “Sam” Maksimowicz and his wife, Beverly, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Mary Catherine and Helen.

Frankie was known for her caring, compassionate nature and always put others first. She found joy in celebrating loved ones, never forgetting a birthday or anniversary, and continued this tradition later in life through heartfelt letters, cards, and notes.

She loved animals, especially dogs, and cherished her adopted Chihuahua, Angel Baby, who brought her comfort and companionship.

Frankie enjoyed Russell Stover chocolates, hard candies, arts and crafts, and fashion. She took pride in her personal style and stayed current with the latest trends, including the “color of the year.”

Above all, Frankie will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and the small acts of love that made others feel special. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests honoring Frankie’s love for animals and helping others through donations to animal adoption and rescue organizations, such as ASPCA, or organizations supporting mental health awareness, such as NAMI Arkansas.

Visitation for Frankie will be held Sunday, June 7 at Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.
