Linda Sue Rush

Linda S. Rush, age 84, passed away May 21, 2026, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. Linda was born April 4, 1942, in Bentonville to the late Oscar and Lois (McCool) Cash.

She graduated from Bentonville High School in 1960 and worked for the Bella Vista POA for 45 years, retiring in May 2014. Bella Vista was in its infancy when she started working and she experienced the Village develop into the thriving community it is today.

Linda loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading, shopping and other activities with her friends. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bentonville and the Lou Macon Sunday School Class.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Wayne Cash; a sister, Margie Tucker; nephews John W. Sooter and Rob Tucker and great-niece Kaycee Cosper. She is survived by a sister, Ozell Sooter of Bentonville; two nieces, LeAnn Tunzi (Tom) of Glendale, California and Terri Tucker of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 4 great-nephews, Chris Sooter (Wendy) of Bentonville, Alex Tunzi of Glendale, California, David Cosper (Lindsey) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Leo Cosper of Tulsa; 3 great-nieces, Jordan Sooter of Eureka Springs, AR, Lauren Tunzi of Glendale, California, 3 great-great nephews and 1 great-great niece.

Graveside services will be on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the pavilion at Bentonville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, 220 South Main Street.
