Barbara Jeane Filkel

Barbara Jeane Filkel, 84, of Noel, Missouri died Monday, January 29, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on August 5, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of Billie and Richard Borden.

Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church of Rogers, AR. Due to health issues she was unable to attend for a while now, but loved her time with her Life Group on Zoom and regularly watched the service on line.

She enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who knew her as “Memaw”.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Willis Filkel.

Barbara is survived by: son, David Filkel (Meta Dunham) of Jay, Oklahoma; daughter, Stacy Stigall (Brian) of Noel, Missouri; sister, Linda Shields of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Timmy Filkel of Colorado Springs, Colorado, BJ Stigall (Heather) of Phoenix, Arizona, Josh Stigall of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Lisi Marlin (Connor) of Washington DC; two great-grandchildren, and many loving friends and family.

Visitation for Barbara will be Friday, February 2nd from 10:00am until 11:00am at First Baptist Church Rogers, Pleasant Grove Campus. Funeral service will follow at 11:00am.

Interment will take place at Brush Creek Cemetery in Noel, Missouri.
