Charles Glen Berry, age 75, of Bentonville died Monday, November 13, 2023 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1948, in Corona, California the son of Charles Fredrick Fewkes and Alta Mae Young (Dill).
He loved country music and as an avid hunter, he looked forward to joining his friends for their annual elk hunting excursion in the mountains of Colorado. When not hiking 20 miles up a mountain, he enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his horse Suzie (and his Honda Goldwing) - and held a deep love for his Cockapoo, Mr. Blackie which he rescued.
Glen was a member of the US Forest Service as a young adult, and then decided to shift gears and be a semi-truck driver. Over 40 years later he retired from driving and helped to open the Cabela’s store in Rogers - surrounded by all things hunting related and new friends.
He was preceded in death by: his father, one brother, and his wife Jacque.
Glen is survived by: his mother; Alta Mae Dill, of Bella Vista, one son; Glen Fewkes and his wife Misty, of Bentonville, one step-son; Damon Berry, of Texas, one daughter; Linda Mae Green and her husband Danny, of Texas, six grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
