Daniel Warren Owens
October 9, 1987 until April 24, 2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Owens, who left us on April 24, 2024, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Daniel was born on October 9, 1987, in Beaumont, Texas, and spent most of his life in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was raised by his loving parents, Phillip and Scarlett Owens. He was a very caring brother to his younger siblings Samuel Owens, Lanetta Owens, and Adonis Saucedo, his brother-in-law. He also is survived by his two children, Tanner and Jessa Owens. He couldn't have survived fighting all his battles without his best friend, Lorraine Crow.
Despite the many challenges and demons he battles, Daniel was a kind and compassionate soul who dedicated much of his time to helping others. He worked and volunteered with people experiencing drug addiction, mental health issues, and homelessness. He had a talent for installing sheetrock and spent many years working in construction. He also worked as a line cook for several restaurants.
Daniel was passionate about music and spent much of his free time writing, rapping, and singing. The man had a passion for gardening and caring for nature. That and his creative artistic ability helped him find a sense of belonging to this earth. As a child, he loved to ride his bicycle and explore the world around him. Daniel's memory will be cherished by his family and friends, who will remember him for his kind heart, infectious smile, and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
