Darla Christine Ferguson

Darla Christine Ferguson, 38, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on August 27. She was born September 6, 1987, in Rogers to Dana Wellesley and Donna Suzanne Polk.

Darla was a lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas and worked for many years at Walmart. She was driven, hardworking, and successful, but the thing that defined Darla most was her heart for people. She had a genuine passion for taking care of others and loved deeply, especially her daughters, sister Deanna and her mom.

Darla loved to travel and experience life. Some of her happiest times were spent with her friends and family traveling to the beach, dancing, taking cruises to the islands, boating, and simply enjoying the people she loved. She also loved to read and had a special love for her dog, Cocoa, who brought her so much joy.

Those who knew Darla will remember more than the things she accomplished. They will remember the way she cared for people, the love she gave so freely, and the determination with which she lived her life. Darla was someone who showed up for the people she loved, and her presence made an impact that will continue long after her passing.

Darla is survived by her mother, Donna Suzanne Polk and her stepfather Milton Polk of Rogers; her father, Dana Wellesley of Neosho, Missouri; and her two daughters, Alexis Marie Ferguson and Addyson Elizabeth Ferguson of Bentonville.

She is also survived by her siblings and their families: James Dean Wellesley and his significant other, Mary Jane Wellesley of Bella Vista, and their sons, J.D. and Joshua Wellesley; Jon David Wellesley and his wife, Cynthia of Pineville, Missouri and their children, Kashia McNamara, Jonathan Wellesley, and Zachary Wellesley; Deanna Sue Young of Neosho, Missouri, and her sons, Trevor, Trenton, and Tanner Young; and Aaron Paul Wellesley of Rogers and his children, Hunter, Chloe, Michael, and Carter Wellesley; along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Darla's life was far too short, but the love she gave during it was not small. She was successful. She took care of people. Above all, she loved deeply. Her family and friends will carry that love with them always.

A visitation for Darla will be Friday, September 4, 2026 from 5-7pm at Epting Funeral Home, 709 N. Walton Blvd. Bentonville, AR 72712.
