Dean A. Braaten

Dean A. Braaten, aged 75, passed away peacefully on September 20th at Circle of Life in Springdale, Arkansas. He is survived by his brother, Keith of Arizona; sister, Faye of South Dakota; and three children Heather, Tara, and Trevor.

His wife Anita preceded him in death.

Dean Austin was born in Wisconsin on December 22, 1947. He was the son of Raymond and Twylah Braaten. He served five years in the US Army including two tours in Vietnam and one tour in Germany. He was wounded several times. He was a proud decorated Vietnam Veteran. He spent his last years accompanied by his faithful dogs, Lightning, Buddy and Sweetpea. All his babies have found new forever homes.

Dean was just a “Good Ole Boy.” Dean will be laid to rest with his late wife, Anita, at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Our nation will forever be indebted to Dean for his service to his country.
