Diana Ruth Patterson Milner

Diana Ruth Patterson Milner of Pueblo, CO was born to Melvin and Patsy Patterson in Gentry, Arkansas on June 19, 1947 and passed into glory on September 2, 2016.

She dedicated her life to serving others as the hands and feet of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her husband, David L Milner of Pueblo, CO; children, James (Angie) Milner of Lowell, Arkansas and Patty Milner of Pueblo, CO; brother, David (Cathy) Patterson and their children, Justin Patterson, Robert Patterson, Nathan Patterson and Sara Patterson Bright; grandchildren, Kayla, Noah and Nathan Milner, and numerous honorary children and grandchildren.

Diana was a longtime adult education teacher at both Pueblo Community College and South Central BOCES. David and Diana served as Church Planters and Church and Community missionaries for the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board in both Buffalo, New York and Pueblo, Colorado including many years of service at Hyde Park Baptist Church on the lower Westside of Pueblo, Colorado.

She has left a hole in our hearts and lives that can only be comforted by God, and while never filled, can best be honored by carrying on her legacy of service and love.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Rogers Pleasant Grove campus in Rogers, Arkansas. Inurnment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Gentry, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Cooperative for Education Guatemala, 2300 Montana Ave Ste 301, Cincinnati, OH 45211 and the Joni Fair Hospice House, 1207 Pueblo Blvd Way, Pueblo, CO 81005 are encouraged.
