Doris "Nadene" Trantham

Doris “Nadene” Trantham, 97, was received into her heavenly home Wednesday, March 20, 2024. She was born on July 25, 1926 in Olive Hill, Kentucky the daughter of Willis Lee and Margie Gladys Joyce French.
Nadene’s childhood was spent in Belton Texas where her family served as pastors to Nazarene congregations. When the family moved to North Little Rock to serve at First Nazarene Church, Nadene met her Fred and three months later they married on November 20, 1948.
Her Fred’s love of fishing brought her to Lake Nimrod and her beloved Plainview Jesus Name Pentencostal Church. Here she loved, served and spread the love of Jesus to whoever she came into contact.
Nadene was a mighty prayer warrior with a missionary heart. An avid reader and enjoyed taking walks.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willis Lee French and Margie Gladys Joyce French, a son Larry James Trantham, husband Fred Taylor Trantham Jr, daughter Faye Marie Trantham Fox, grandaughter Jennifer Marie Fox, brother Roy Truett French and sister Rachael DeJuana French Jarrell.
Nadene is survived by daughter, Carmen (Michael) Henson, grandaughters Phoebe (Aaron) Summerhill, Aimee (Randy) Patton and Cassy (Eric) deNapoli, great grandchildren Hallie deNapoli, Allie deNapoli, Olivia Summerhill, Kyan Patton, Millie Patton, Tillman Patton, and many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Nadene’s life will be held Wednesday April 10th 1:00 pm at the Jesus Name Pentencostal Church Plainview, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Jesus Name Church Building Program Plainview, AR or Willard Walker Hospice Home Fayetteville, AR.
