Dr. Lynn Hart Haines
October 5, 1940 until January 15, 2025

Dr Lynn Hart Haines, age 84, of Bentonville, Arkansas died peacefully at his home, Wednesday, January 15, 2025. He was born October 5, 1940 in Bozeman Montana, the son of Marion Hart and E. S. “Buck” Haines.
Lynn practiced neurosurgery in the US Army in Germany, private practice in Farmington, NM, Corvallis, OR, and Russellville, AR until 1994.
Lynn enjoyed time with family, reading, watching historical documentaries and traveling. As a member of Russellville First United Methodist Church, he was active in the Walk to Emmaus Spiritual retreat. He loved to captivate others with his many tales.
Survived by his wife of 41 years, Bonnie, and their children, Whitney (Mike) Peebles of Bentonville and Troy Haines of Fayetteville, AR. With his former wife, Diane Dunn, his children Kimberly (Brad) Longerbone, Kelly (Brenden) O’Neill of Minnesota, and Kristi (Harley) White of Florida.
Lynn was blessed with the love of 6 grandchildren. Kaitlin and Skyler Longerbone, Grady and Brynn O’Neill, and Brayden and Deklyn Peebles. Also, blessed with a very special niece, Brooke Gonet.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements to spread his ashes near the Tetons in Wyo. are set for August.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, and a brother Richard Haines.
