Edward D. Robertson Jr.

Edward D. Robertson Jr, 83, of Bella Vista passed away September 27th in his home. He was born November 6th, 1939 in Ravia, Oklahoma to Thomas and Novelene (Martin) Robertson.

Edward served in the United States Army Reserve and the United States Air Force. He had lived in Northwest Arkansas for 26 years after moving from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Edward worked for many years as a chemical engineer for Dow Chemical, and was also one of their first environmental engineers. During his time with Dow, Edward had the opportunity to travel the world. He served as Carroll County Judge from 2000-2004. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, scuba diving, playing golf, camping, and sailing.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters: Alpha, Jean, Vallis, and Linda.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years and the love of his life, Gloria Robertson of Bella Vista; two daughters: Jannette “Jan” DuBois Jackson (Bruce) and Michelle Finlay (Steve); one sister, Letha Thiel (Ellis); four grandchildren: Grant DuBois (Sarah), Hayden DuBois (Abby), Kevin Scott Frazier II, and Brittany Frazier (Tony Campo); four great-grandchildren: Charlotte DuBois, Cooper DuBois, Dylan Campo, and Johnathan Frazier; and one great-grandchild, Neo Frazier.
