George Ronald Flynn

George Ronald Flynn, age 64, of Bella Vista died Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Circle of Life Hospice House located in Bentonville. He was born April 15, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Polly and Charles Flynn.

George was a lifelong fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Music was also a big part of his life. He wrote songs and played the guitar, traveled to concerts all over the country and had music playing in the background no matter what he was doing. The happiest times for George were when he was surrounded by family and friends. He loved to entertain and all guests knew they would be well fed as he was a talented chef. He took pride in doing what he said he was going to do, leading him to own a catering company, two restaurants and a construction company. He was very proud to be an Executive for Mercy Medical Center for over 35 years. Though he thrived in a busy life, he always found time to steal away and get some fishing in.

He lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for 21 years after moving from St. Louis, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

George is survived by his wife, Kathleen Flynn, one son, Ryan Flynn, and Ryan’s son Luka Cain Flynn. Also, three sisters and step children Marissa (Luke) Solomon-Vickers, Lauren (Josh) Smisko, Breanna (Jay) Solomon, Brooke (Michael) Noel, Skyler McCowan, Nick (Tosha) McCowan, Tiffany Tully and ten grandchildren. Friends so special they are considered family; Amy (Craig) Miller, Tamara Herron and his best friend of 43 years Rob (Liz) Hemwell.

Visitation will be: Thursday, August 30, 2024 from noon to 2pm at New Hope Assembly of God Church located in Rogers. A celebration of George’s life will begin at 2pm following the visitation. A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery located in Gravette.
