Jennie Lynn Taylor

Jennie Lynn Taylor of Bentonville, Age 96, passed away on Saturday, November 25th, 2023 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born Thursday, May 12th, 1927 in Rencona, New Mexico to Gus and Floy Canon.

Jennie grew up in Rencona, New Mexico and Santa Fe, New Mexico. She moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1967. She married her husband of 49 years on December 23, 1952. Jennie loved to spend time with her family as well as talking on the phone with her sister. In her younger years she enjoyed reading and sewing.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Oren Taylor, her parents; Gus and Floy, as well as two brothers and three sisters.

Jennie is survived by her younger sister Charlotte Huddleston of New Mexico, daughters Lorna Taylor, Terry Lewis, and Roxann Dillard (Loyd), as well as three granddaughters Keesha Mahurin (Eric), Courtney Honsinger, and Ariel Ervin. She also had six great granddaughters and three great grandsons.

A visitation will be held at Epting Funeral home of Gravette on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Oren A. Taylor at the Fayetteville National Cemetery during a private family service with Pastor Cynthia Brow officiating. A Celebration of Life dinner for family and friends will be held in Bentonville at 3:00pm on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023.
