Larry Lee Martin

Larry Lee Martin, age 93, of Gravette died Friday, February 7, 2025 at Washington Regional Medical Center of Fayetteville. He was born June 13, 1931 in Long Beach, California the son of Shirley Reeves and Joe Martin.

He served in the US Coast Guard from 1949-1952 where he earned an Honorable Discharge. He loved working, farming, and mechanics. He was preceded in death by: his parents, step-father; “Bud” Oscar Karr, one son Keith, one sister Patricia Karr, one grandson Bobby Stacy, one granddaughter Keshia Moss, and one great-granddaughter Raven Wells.

Larry is survived by: his wife of 69 years; Hallie Hutton Martin whom he married, July 16, 1955, one son; Kevin Martin and his wife Angie, of Gravette, two daughters; Claudia Martin of Gentry, Shari Poe and her husband Donald, of Gravette, honorary child; Frank Weicht, of Missouri, four brothers; Fred Karr, of Baskerville, California, Gene Martin, of Arizona, Mick Karr and his wife Donna, of Baskerville, California, Jess Karr and his wife Geovana, of Baskerville, California, eleven grandchildren; Misty, Joshua, Sean, Josiah, Andrew, Eugene, Austin, Benjamin, Hallie, Michelle, and Paul, twelve great-grandchildren; Lilly, Ember, Tyler, Emma, Harlee, Elias, Bree, Corbin, Carmen, Karyn, and Alex, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12th from 10-11am at Epting Funeral Home Chapel located in Gravette. A celebration of Larry’s life will begin at 11am with Rev. Jo Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery located four miles East of Gravette on Hwy. 72.

Full military honors will be provided by: The Northwest Arkansas Honor Guard of Rogers.
