Lisa Renee Gann-Crawford
June 14, 1961 until December 5, 2025

Lisa Renee Gann-Crawford, born June 14, 1961, passed on December 5, 2025. She is now resting in God’s grace and eternal peace.
Lisa was born in Pryor and found her heart’s happiness wherever there were trees and water. Though she loved living in Ruidoso, New Mexico, she spent most of her life in Rogers, Arkansas. Home, to Lisa, was never just a place—it was a feeling found beneath tall trees, beside still water, and in the quiet comfort of nature.
Lisa was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and friend—but above all, she loved her daughter fiercely. Though tiny in stature, she was mighty in spirit and truly a force to be reckoned with. Known far and wide, Lisa made history with her decades of experience and unmatched skill as one of the greatest lady boot shiners in the country. From cowboys and cattlemen across the United States, Canada, and down toward Mexico, Lisa was respected and remembered. When she popped that shammy, it could be heard a mile away—and once you met her, you never forgot her.
Lisa was always a helping hand and a shoulder to cry on. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and cared for. Her smile could light up a room, and her presence left a lasting impression on everyone she met. By her side was her devoted service animal, Panda, whom she loved deeply and cared for with exceptional tenderness.
Music filled her world—smooth jazz, the classics of the 60s and 70s, and praise and worship songs that reflected her unwavering faith. Lisa’s relationship with God was constant, and she never missed an opportunity to share what He had done in her life and what He could do in the lives of others. Though she faced worldly struggles and pain, she is now free—embraced by God’s grace and reunited in heaven with those who went before her.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Melvin Gann; her grandparents, Roy and Margaret Gann, and Orval and Fern Webber; and sister, Johnny Lynn.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Victoria Shanks, and son-in-law, Tyler Shanks; her cherished grandchildren, Kyleigh Kirkendoll-Shanks, Kyler Shanks, and Kayson Shanks; her siblings, Cathy and John, Larry and Donna, and Sandy and Vickie; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also lovingly remembered by Virginia Newman, Heather Poe, and Chris Emery, along with countless friends whose lives she touched.
Lisa’s life was one of strength, compassion, and faith. Those who knew her are encouraged to honor her memory by helping others, offering kindness freely, and remembering her radiant smile. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the love she gave, the lives she changed, and the peace she now knows.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11am at New Hope Assembly of God Church located in Rogers with Pastor James Longmate officiating.
