Luella Faye Hershberger
December 30, 1931 until April 10, 2025

Luella Faye Hershberger, 93, of Seligman, Missouri passed away April 10, 2025 at a nursing home in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born December 30, 1931 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Claud White and Ilah Berner White.
Luella graduated from Midway High School in Stark City, Missouri in 1951 and then studied Elementary Education, Special Education, Psychology, and Counseling at Kansas State Teachers College in Pittsburg, Kansas and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Luella spent most of her working life in education as both a teacher and school counselor. She married Jon Dee Hershberger on May 24, 1953. Luella enjoyed sewing, embroidery, crochet, and crafting in general.
Luella was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brother, Donald White; and grandson, Nicholas Ruth.
Survivors include her two children: Janice Kay Ruth (Daniel) of Missouri and Dr. Stuart Ross Hershberger of Oklahoma; grandchildren Sara Ruth Harris (Galen) and Danielle Wotipka (Donnie Hagler Jr.); and great-grandchildren: Sadie, Camryn, Jalyn, Emily, and William.
A memorial service for Luella will be Friday, April 25, 2025 at 10:30am at Epting Funeral Home of Gravette. If you desire to send flowers you are welcome to contact any flower shop in the area, but Just Petaling in Bella Vista will deliver to Gravette. Please have flowers arrive between 9:30am and 10:00am on the day of the service.
Luella will be laid to rest with her husband, Jon Hershberger, at the Leavenworth National Cemetery in Kansas.
