Mary Anna Corbin

March 3, 1938 until April 3, 2024

Mary Anna Corbin

Our family’s favorite angel gained her wings Wednesday morning, April 03, 2024. We thank God for all the time He gave us to spend with her and are so blessed by the signs she has already given us, which assures us she is with our Savior.

Mary Anna (Brown) Corbin (86) was born on March 03, 1938, and raised in Scranton, AR. She lived in Decatur, AR, for 63 years, where she retired from Peterson Industries after 30 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Opal (Luman) (1995) and Tom Brown (1974), husband Gerald Corbin (2017), son and firstborn Leslie Corbin (2003), and siblings Robbie Lea Self (2012), Reba Hixon (2018), Betty Lou Terry (2006), and Orville Brown (2017).

She is survived by her daughters Shelia Glaser (Chic) of Centerton, AR, and Daphne Ruck (Ken) of Little Rock, AR; daughter-in-law Gayla Corbin of Decatur; grandchildren Lisa Gonzales, Allen Corbin (Shelcey), Jes Corbin, Kara Anderson (Jeremiah), and Kelsey Watson (Brice); 9 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; sister Freda Mae Hinkle of Scranton, brothers TJ Brown (Pat) of Scranton, and Ricky Brown (Betty) of Clarksville, AR, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat JB.

Our Momma, Memaw, Mama, and Aunt Mary always demonstrated Divine grace (Ephesians 2:8), which is why she was loved by everyone she met, particularly her lifelong friends and neighbors and amazing church family. Please know we are so grateful for the love and support you’ve given us these past months of her journey to Heaven.

On Friday, April 12, 2024, her life will be celebrated at Fellowship Full Gospel Church, 638 HWY 59, Decatur, AR. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., funeral service at 2:00 p.m., and interment will follow at Falling Springs Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to the Fellowship Full Gospel Church Breaking Chains Ministry.
