Mary Louise Emerline

Mary Louise Emerline, age 79, of Rector, Arkansas died Friday, February 13, 2026 at her residence. She was born July 30, 1946, in Mobile, Alabama the daughter of Mary Alma Flowers and James Sanders, SR.

She loved spending quality time with her family and her close friends, Van Glover and Barbara Campbell, and playing games on her iPad. She loved to joke and laugh and have fun. She was a fabulous cook and loved canning. Years ago she enjoyed fishing, was an avid reader, and enjoyed crafting.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Emerline, SR, her granddaughter Cecily Dawn Fortenberry, her mother, Mary Alma Flowers, her father James Sanders, SR, her brother, James Alvin Sanders, and her sister Alma Jean Perry.

Mary is survived by her two daughters; Theresa Pennington and her husband Timothy, of Harviell, Missouri, Jacinda Emerline and her significant other; Joseph Scott, of Rector, one grandson; Logan Emerline of Rector. She was also blessed with two honorary grandchildren and six honorary great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Rector, AR at a later date.
