Michael Paul Womack

Michael Paul Womack of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away on December 8, 2023 at Circle of Life in Bentonville. Mike was born March 4, 1959 in Bentonville to Howard Womack and Ruth Ann Follett Womack.

Mike was proud to be a Bentonville native, where he lived most of his life. The friends he grew up with were friends forever. Mike loved his family very much. He was appreciative to have a father who attended every athletic event he participated in, even away games. Mike was devoted to the care of his loving mother. He was an outstanding big brother, always protective of Tina and Danny. As a strong man of faith, he was an active member of Cross Church Pinnacle Hills who loved to serve the Lord with a servant’s heart. He loved to perform random acts of kindness so often that we may never know how many lives he touched. Mike was employed with Walmart for over 35 years, starting as a warehouse associate and working his way up to director. He was a very hard worker and strove for excellence in all he did, remaining grounded in his values. Through the years, he enjoyed being a mentor and a positive influence in several people’s careers. Whether it be friends from childhood or work, he had a heart for building and investing in relationships. If you knew him, you probably have a few really good stories to tell.

In his retirement, Mike took great joy in participating in car shows and attending drag races with his friends. He loved to take his family on frequent vacations and getaways. He especially loved to relax on the beach. For 17 years, he treasured life with his wife and precious daughters. He exemplified what it means to be a doting husband and father.

Mike is preceded in death by his first wife, Gina Dolph Womack.

Mourning his passing is his wife, Joni Womack; his two daughters, Shelby Horner and Hannah Horner; his father, Howard Womack and wife Nell; his mother, Ruth Ann Womack; one brother, Danny Womack; one sister, Tina Brewer and husband Tim; step-sisters Sherry Hall and Terry Helm; nephew Levi Brewer and wife Cassidy; nephews Josh Womack and Justin Womack; mother-in-law Ester Young; many beloved family members, dear friends, and his very loyal dog, Jimmy.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Cross Church Pinnacle Hills, with visitation at 10am and service at 11am. 2448 S Pinnacle Hills Parkway, Rogers, Arkansas.
