Patricia Beatrice Lane

Patricia Beatrice Lane, age 77, of Bella Vista died Friday, July 12, 2024 at Circle of Life Hospice House located in Bentonville. She was born June 22, 1947 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of Dorotha Newton and John Hobbs.

She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from North Texas University, then went on to complete her Master’s Degree at Sam Houston State University. She loved spending quality time with her family, especially time with her grandchildren.

Patricia loved teaching music to children, while working at the Decatur and Rogers Public Schools for many years. She was an active member of First Baptist Rogers working in the Music Ministry for many years playing the piano and organ for the church.

She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1988 after moving from Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by: her parents, one brother, and one sister.

Patricia is survived by: her husband of 50 years; Raleigh Lane of Bella Vista, whom she married May 18, 1974, one son; Shannon Lane and his wife; Amber, of Rogers, one daughter; Dr. Ashley Lane, of Bolivar, Missouri, and three grandchildren; Dylen, Maddon, and Evelyn.

Visitation will be Monday, July 15, 2024 from 1:15pm until service time at 2:00pm at First Baptist Rogers located at the Pleasant Grove Campus with Pastor Wes George officiating. Inurnment will be at National Cemetery located in Fayetteville with Pastor Bill Bowen officiating.
