Paul Dean Hale

Reverend Paul Hale of Fayetteville, AR passed away on July 2, 2023 at the age of 80 at the Howard Hospice Home in Springdale, AR. He was born in Waldron, AR. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Hale and his mother, Imogene (Davenport) Hale of Live Oak, CA, his sister, Troyce (Hale) Scott Smart of Oakdale, CA and brother, Otis Hale, of Fort Smith, AR.

Paul was an ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God in California and Arkansas for 40 years. He was actively involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Organization of California for over 10 years where he led chapters in Corning, CA and Brentwood, CA. During his tenure as a minister, he was a youth pastor at Neighborhood Church in Modesto, CA; Senior Pastor of Neighborhood Church in Corning, CA; Senior Pastor of Brentwood Assembly of God Church in Brentwood, CA; and Senior Pastor of Prairie Creek Assembly of God Church in Rogers, AR.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn (Scott) Hale of Fayetteville, AR; children, Casey Hale of Fayetteville, AR; Paula Warner-Hale of Fayetteville, AR; and Ryan Hale of Bentonville, AR; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; Siblings, brother, Mack Hale of Fort Smith, AR and sister, Joyce (Hale) Willoughby Foster of Live Oak, CA.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on August 5, 2023 in the Fellowship Hall at Trinity Fellowship A/G at 1100 E. Rolling Hills Drive in Fayetteville, AR. All friends and family are invited to attend.

The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation for the staff at North Hills and Katherine’s Place Nursing & Rehabilitation facilities in Fayetteville, AR and the Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale, AR for providing a high quality of care and support for Paul.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Paul’s name to the Circle of Life Earlene Howard Hospice Home, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
