Samuel Fremont Lego

Samuel Fremont Lego, 93, of Bella Vista passed away August 30, 2024 at a local skilled care center. He was born May 28, 1931 in Pleasant Gap, Pennsylvania to Paul Lego and Katherine Hile Lego.

Samuel was a 30+ year member of the United States Air Force and a Vietnam veteran. He retired from the Air Force in 1982.

Samuel volunteered for many years at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, Pennsylvania, where he also served as head usher at New Beginnings Church. Samuel married Andrea Hostettler in 1977, and the two of them retired in Bella Vista.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Gene Lego, and one sister, Paula May.

Samuel is survived by his wife of 47 years, Andrea Lego of Bella Vista; one daughter, Christine Lego of Texas; one step-daughter, Lisa Camp-Parsons and her daughter, Kayleigh Grzybowski, of Arizona; one step-son, Michael Camp (Karren) and their children, Maddy Camp and Ben Camp, of Bella Vista; one brother, Don Lego of Kansas; and one sister, Nancy Strickler (Ron) of Pennsylvania.

Samuel was cremated and his remains will be inurned at a later date.
