Sharon Kay (Honegger) Gann

Sharon Kay (Honegger) Gann passed away on April 13, 2026, in Bentonville, Arkansas, at Circle of Life Hospice Center, with her two daughters by her side.

Sharon was born on June 17, 1944, in Garber, Oklahoma, to Paul Winston Honegger and Melvina Lee Honegger. Shortly after graduating from Garber High School in 1963, she married the love of her life, Donald Dean Gann. Together they raised two daughters, Terri and Christy, and made their home in Moore, Oklahoma for many years.

Throughout her life, Sharon held various jobs, always prioritizing her family. While her daughters were in school, she chose positions that allowed her to share their schedule, reflecting her deep devotion as a mother. She had a green thumb and took great pride in her wonderful summer gardens and beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed swimming, reading, crocheting, quilting, and the many dogs she loved and cared for over the years.

In 1982, Sharon and Don moved back to Enid, Oklahoma, and later relocated to Rogers, Arkansas in 1989. Together, they founded Don’s Mobile Homes, building and managing a successful business for many years until Don’s passing in May 2024.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gann; her parents, Paul W. and Melvina L. Honegger; her sister, Patsy Honegger Peat; and her brother, Sammy Honegger.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri and husband Cecil Durheim of Enid, Oklahoma; her daughter, Christy Lynn Gann of Rogers Arkansas, Shelly Collins of Rogers Arkansas, her brother, Paul Lee Honegger of Medford, Oklahoma; her grandson, Zachary Durheim of Enid; and her grandson, Hayden Durheim and wife Logan of Enid. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as close family friends Robert and Nina Jones of Rogers, Arkansas.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Enid, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas.
