Shirley H. Zimmerman

Shirley H. Zimmerman, age 87, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center located in Rogers. She was born November 8, 1936 in Luray, Tennessee the daughter of Havana Armstrong and Arvle Hamlett.

She met and married the love of her life in 1958 in Memphis, Tennessee. She loved spending quality time with family. She was a realtor for 40 years. She never met a stranger. She was the Past-President of many organizations, including the Biloxi Ocean Springs Association of Realtors and Gulf Park Estates Volunteer Fire Department.

She was a Charter Member and Past President of the Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Elks Lodge #2501 Ladies Auxiliary. She moved to Northwest Arkansas from Ocean Springs, Mississippi in 2010. She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband Erwin Zimmerman, one sister, one brother, and four nephews.

Shirley is survived by: two daughters; Polly Buster and her husband Paul of Longmont, Colorado, Emily Mansch and her husband Murray, of Springdale, three grandchildren; Nicole Mansch, of Springdale, Jason Buster, of Atherton, California, Jacob Buster, of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Shirley’s life will be Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11am at Grace United Methodist Church located in Rogers. Private graveside services were at National Cemetery located in Fayetteville.
