Tommy Lee Hunter

Tommy Lee Hunter of Rogers, age 49, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on Tuesday, July 22, 1975 in Evansville, Indiana.

He grew up in Fort Smith and graduated from Southside High School. He moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2007. He met Shawnee Tyler at Olive Garden in the fall of 1998, whom he married on April 21, 2001.

Tommy enjoyed being a dad, a chef, and entertaining family. He was the kindest person in the world. We were lucky to have had him in our lives.

Tommy is survived by his wife and best friend; Shawnee Hunter, his children; Christian Tyler, Matthew Hunter, Mykha Hunter, Jazmin Hunter, Madison Hunter, Merik Hunter, and Zoey Hunter; his siblings; Stephanie Burris, Melissa Branson Kinnard, and Michael Branson, and his parents; Rebecca and Jim Speer.

He was a great dad, husband, son, brother, and uncle.
He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
