Vicki Dianne Pomykala

Vicki Dianne Pomykala, age 73, passed away at her home in Bella Vista, Arkansas on Wednesday, December 25th, 2024. She was born on Friday, February 23rd, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Fred Joe and Lois Baker (Cleveland).

Vicki grew up all over the United States and graduated from Joliet East High School in Joliet, Illinois in 1969. She attended the Ohio State University until 1973. She married her husband of almost 49 years, Michael W. Pomykala, on February, 14th, 1976 in Joliet. She worked for many years in retail, wholesale, and interior design, and drove a school bus for the Bentonville school district before retiring. She was an active member at Fellowship Bentonville. She taught water aerobics at Branchwood Rec. Center in Bella Vista, and enjoyed boating and swimming.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Joe Baker.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Michael Pomykala; one daughter, Leslie Peetani (Sharan Peetani) of Bartlett, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Divyanka (age 6) and Abhyant (age 2); her mother, Lois Baker (Cleveland); and one sister, Sandra Womack (Bob) of Kingman, Arizona.

Vicki will be laid to rest at Bella Vista Cemetery with a private graveside ceremony. A Celebration of Life will be held for her at a later date.
