Vicki Marie Peak

Vicki Marie Peak, 71, of Tulsa, Ok. passed away on October 10, 2023 at Forest Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center in Broken Arrow, Ok. She was born July 10, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Paul and Jayne (Cunningham) Peak.

She was a graduate of Rogers High School in Rogers, Ar., and the school of Life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her stepmother, Sue Peak, her sister, Terry, her father, and her niece, Jayne.

Vicki is survived by four of her sisters: Sandi Weiland and husband John of Pea Ridge, Ar., Patti Casias and husband Louie of Houston, Tx., Toni Foskey of Pea Ridge, Ar., and Debi Peak of Anderson, Mo., three brothers: Brian Peak, Alan Peak and wife Michelle, both of Springfield, Mo., and Tracy Peak, of Republic, Mo., 14 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and great nephews, and 2 great-great nieces and a great-great nephew. She was blessed to have several very good friends, but 2 extremely devoted friends in Carol Berry and Debbie Blackketter.

Vicki started her work career in high school at the Original Wal Mart store in Rogers, Ar., where she worked for 2 years. She worked for Tulsa Jr. College System as an accountant. She worked for Amoco Production Company who merged with BP doing accounts receivables where she met her friend Debbie and they also worked together later at IBM. Vicki worked for Tulsa Williams Company and at IMAX Accounting, where she met her friend Carol. She worked for Sheraton Hotels, Linco Accounting, and several places as a temporary employee.

Vicki's hobbies were crafting, cross stitch, and reading. "Books take you anywhere and everywhere!"
She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Vicki loved music, singing in the choir at church and school, even taking voice lessons when she was older. She loved the voices and talent of Elvis Presley, Patsy Cline, and the Joey and Rory Feek Singers. She had a love for Christian music and attended concerts with friends who shared that love.

She appreciated the beauty, structure, and hope represented by light houses.

Vicki fought hard during three different battles with cancer, however, her body just couldn't rally for a fourth fight.

Vicki will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends. She helped many in times of need and offered a friendly shoulder for you to lean on or cry on when anyone needed it. She could build you up or cry with you, depending on the need. She will be deeply and infinitely missed!
Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2023 930-10am, and a Funeral Mass will begin at 10am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers, Arkansas. Interment will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery located in Rogers, Arkansas.
