Barbara Ann Christie

Barbara Ann Christie, age 57, of Centerton died Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center located in Rogers. She was born July 15, 1967 in Springdale, Arkansas the daughter of Linda Cooper and James Carte.

She enjoyed camping, gardening, fishing, and taking care of others. She was a caretaker, and worked as a Dietary Manager at Applecreek in Centerton. She loved worshiping God with her church. More than anything she loved spending quality time with her family and friends and spending time with her dogs; Rowdy and Cooper. She loved going to flea markets, garage sales, and antique shops.

She moved from Oklahoma to Northwest Arkansas after her husband passed away.

She was preceded in death by: her father, and her husband; Sherman Christie.

Barbara is survived by: her mother; Linda Carol Cowger, of Centerton, two brothers; Mike Carte and his wife Tammy, of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, David Carte and his wife Emily, of Bentonville, two sisters; Carol Parker and her husband Ed Adams, of Springdale, Christy Baker and her husband John, of Rogers, two special nieces; Nichole Fielder and her husband Grant, of Goodman, Missouri, Jordan Silver and her husband Patrick, of Centerton, two nephews; Tyler Sauls and his wife Katie, Landon Carte, of Bentonville, and one great-niece; Paisley Sauls, of Centerton.
