Betty Ruth Woodmancy

Betty Ruth Woodmancy, 79, of Gentry died Monday, July 27, 2026 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born on April 14, 1947 in Levasy, Missouri the daughter of Stella and Floyd Honeycutt.

On May 7th, 1976, she married David Woodmancy and together they raised four children. Betty loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed fishing and camping. She loved music and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and two brothers.

Betty leaves behind her husband, David Woodmancy of Gentry; four children, Shauna (Jeremy) Dahl of Gravette and Tammy (Lenny) Hight of Missouri, Davey Woodmancy of Lowell, and Timmy Kane of Arizona; two sisters, Shirley DeWolf of Missouri and Dorothy Stark of Missouri; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of loving friends and family.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at the Wingate by Windham Hotel in Bentonville at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 15th.
