Bill Allen Colbert

Bill Allen Colbert, age 53, passed away on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 in Hero’s Haven at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born on Tuesday, January 20th, 1970 in McMinnville, Oregon to James and Julia Colbert (Phares).
He graduated from High School in Jay, Oklahoma where he participated in many sports, and was a state wrestling champion. He enlisted into the U.S. military, serving in the Navy right after high school in 1988. He was honorably discharged in 1992. He met Margaret Rock in San Diego, California whom he married on November 9th, 1991. Together they moved to Northwest Arkansas where they spent the remainder of their life together.
Bill enjoyed hiking, walking, playing games, swimming, watching movies, eating Chinese food, and was a profound fan of the Seattle Seahawks. Above all, he loved spending time with his family; a proud daddy of four girls.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 29 years; Margaret Colbert, his father; James Colbert, his brother; Robert Colbert, and a son-in-law; John Smith.
Bill is survived by his five daughters; Sarah Grant of Springdale, Jessica and Phillip Harding of Rogers, Kaydee Colbert of Springdale, Jaimi Colbert of Rogers, and Ashley Douangdara of Senora, his son; Peter Giardino of Fayetteville, his mother; Julia Colbert of Fayetteville, one sister; Linda and Darren Robbins of Seneca, Missouri, nine grandchildren, one nephew and one niece, named John Kuharich and Elizabeth Kuharich, and one great niece and nephew; Hunter and Ryhley.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor at Saved By Grace Church in Springdale on Friday, September 1st, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch, pastor Darren Robbins officiating. Inurnment will be at the Fayetteville National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. the same day.
