Bruce Wayne Shaddox

Bruce Wayne Shaddox, age 73, of Pea Ridge died Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at his residence. He was born April 24, 1952 in Rogers, Arkansas the son of Mahota Williams and Doc Shaddox.

He enjoyed watching football, NASCAR, and bird watching. He was an old school Rockin’ Roller. He worked for over 30 years at the Walmart Jewelry Warehouse. He served in the United States Air Force for four years, and earned his Honorable Discharge.

He loved spending quality time with his family and friends, was a devout Christian serving at Eastside Assembly of God Church, and a loving Husband and Father. He was preceded in death by: his parents, and one brother; James “Doc” Shaddox Jr.

Bruce is survived by: his wife of 17 years; Letha Shaddox, two children; Duane Carter and his wife Rhonda, of Charleston, Carolyn Carter, of Pea Ridge, and two sisters; Jan Spears and her husband Harold, of Rogers, and Tempe Hockenberry, of Claremore, Oklahoma.

A celebration of Bruce’s life will be Saturday at 10am at Eastside Assembly of God Church located in Bentonville with Pastor Robert Ward officiating.
