Charles Edward Srader

Charles Edward Srader, age 69, passed away at his home in Elkins, Arkansas on Monday, January 19th, 2026. He was born on Thursday, March 22nd, 1956 in Roswell, New Mexico to Felix Jefferson and Alice Glycine Srader (Kilgore).

Charles moved from New Mexico to Northwest Arkansas in 1961 where he went to school, graduated, and served his family and community all of his life. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Springdale and was really involved in his local community as a baseball coach, a football announcer, president of the booster club, and a bus driver for the local school district. He loved to hunt, fish, dance (and teach dancing), riding his motorcycle, and all kinds of music.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Patricia Srader; his parents, Felix and Alice; two brothers, Tony and Jerry David Srader; and one sister, Kay Srader.

Charles is survived by his two children, Joe Srader (Laura) of Elkins, and Lisa Holtquist (Dan) of Gravette; two brothers, Steve and Mike Srader, both of Elkins; four sisters, Connie Srader of Van Buren, Tena Mathews and Cheryl Srader of Anderson, Missouri, and Eva Buskey of Dexter, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Addlee, Rhett, Aidan, Sybela, Layla, Lucas, and Logan; and many friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 22nd at Mount Olive Cemetery in Elkins at 2:00 p.m., Bro. Eddie Hattabaugh officiating.
