Charles Perry Grizzle

Charles Perry Grizzle, age 85, of Bella Vista died Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center located in Rogers. He was born September 4, 1939 in Fort Smith, Arkansas the son of Pauline and Tillman Grizzle.

He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed golfing and he was a talented artist that enjoyed painting and sculptures. He was preceded in death by: his parents, and two brothers; Herbie Grizzle and Jim Grizzle.

Perry was a Shelter Insurance Agent in Nevada MO for 32 years. During that time he was active in the community serving in the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, the Country Club, and the Water Board. During most of those years he ran the Perry Grizzle Agency (PGA) Golf Tournament which brought in golfers from as far as Arizona to play each year. He loved all animals and loved to bird watch.

Perry is survived by: his wife of 46 years, Susie Grizzle whom he married in 1978, three daughters; Sabrina Brady and her husband Aaron, of Glendale, Arizona, Amanda Lewis, of Nevada, Missouri, Allison Grizzle, of Bella Vista, one brother; Parks Grizzle, one sister; Betty Brodie, of Bentonville, six grandchildren; Von Brady, Nathan Brady, Haley Lewis, Madalyn Koenig, Brayden Koenig, and Bryce Koenig, and three great-grandchildren; Scarlet Barry, Hank Barry, and Navy Gardner.

A celebration of Perry’s life will be Thursday the 26th at 4 o’clock at Cooper Chapel in Bella Vista, 504 Memorial Drive, Bella Vista, Arkansas, 72714.

A reception will follow the celebration of life at the Bella Vista Recreational Center, 3 Riordan Drive, Bella Vista, Arkansas, 72715.
