Charles Stanley Filbeck Jr “CHUCKY”

Charles Stanley Filbeck Jr “CHUCKY” was born on September 17, 1956 in Limestone Maine. The oldest son of SMSGT Charles S Filbeck Sr. and Barbara Filbeck.

He grew up with special needs and was a special needs man. He passed away in his home with his brother and sister-in-law in Decatur, AR. on April 29, 2024.

Chucky was a graduate of the Lavoy Exceptional School in Tampa Florida. Although he was totally dependent on his brother and sister-in-law, he was loved by everyone who met him. He was best known for his love of music, Mickey Mouse and watching TV. Chucky stayed by his mother’s side for a number of years when she was the dispatcher for the Lutz Volunteer Fire Department, in Florida. He will be missed by the entire family.

He is preceded in death by both Charles Sr and Barbara. He is also preceded in death by his youngest sister, Kathy White-Filbeck of Missouri.

He is survived by his sisters Charlean Wilson-Filbeck of Gravette, Arkansas, Mary Gore-Filbeck and brother-in-law Sam Gore Sr. of Forsyth, Georgia, brother Tim Filbeck and sister-in-law Lisa Filbeck of Decatur, Arkansas. Chucky has numerous nephews, nieces as well as great nephews and great nieces.

He was also cared for everyday by Elizabeth Keen of Siloam Springs. She was not only a nurses aid, she became part of the family too.

Chucky is in Heaven no longer bound by his special needs now reunited with mom,dad,nanny, poppa and Kathy. He will missed every day here on earth, but he is truly in a better place and we will all reunite one day.
