Deloris Kay Carter

Deloris Kay Carter, 80, of Bella Vista passed away June 8, 2024 at a local care center in Bella Vista, and was under the care of Circle of Life. She was born April 14, 1944 in Yuba City, California to Charlie Red and Ioma Browning Red.
Deloris was a long-time resident of Northwest Arkansas and worked at Bemco of Centerton for many years. She loved to spend time with family, and she loved to play cards and crochet.
Deloris was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Mac Carter; both parents and her step-mother, Faye Cowgar Red; two brothers: Bill Red and Larry Red; and four sisters: Melba Larkins, Myrtle Miller, Charlotte Burgess (Deloris’s twin), and Cordella Hopkins.
She is survived by her two sons: Stormy Carter (Michelle) of Bella Vista and Wayne Carter of Rogers; two brothers: Homer Poe and Chuck Red; two sisters-in-law: Ann Red and Betty Red; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held July 2nd at 1pm at Park Street Baptist Church of Bentonville, where she was a long-time member. Pastor Ronald Roughton will be officiating.
