Jan Russell

Jan Russell, age 69, passed away on Thursday, December 11th, 2025 surrounded by family in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. She was born Thursday, September 27th, 1956 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Sonny and Arlene Farmer (Reed).

Jan grew up in Siloam Springs, graduating from Siloam Springs High School in 1974. She met Steven Russell whom she married in 1977 and they moved to Tacoma, Washington where they had two daughters, Stephanie and Jennifer. They later moved to Enid, Oklahoma for a year before moving to Rogers, Arkansas where they eventually parted ways, and where Jan spent the remainder of her life. She worked as a Tax Accountant for 21 years at Wal-Mart, and she loved spending time with her grandkids, and cheering on her Razorbacks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sonny and Arlene; one sister-in-law, Carolyn; one brother-in-law, Dwight; and one great-nephew, Jacob.

Jan is survived by her two daughters, Stephanie Rosser (Mike) of Pea Ridge, and Jennifer Qualls (Dusty) of Rogers; four grandchildren, Bryce Beckmann, Dylan Qualls, Payton Beckmann, and Demi Rosser; one great-grandson, Bennett Beckmann; two siblings, Marsha Dean and Paul Farmer, and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in her honor on Tuesday, December 16th at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge, Pastor Paul Farmer officiating.
