Kathy King

Kathy King, age 63, of Rogers died Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Washington Regional Medical Center located in Fayetteville. She was born May 18, 1961 in Greenville, Mississippi, the daughter of Doris and Sonny Lancaster.

She enjoyed spending quality time with family especially time with her grandchildren. She loved going to the beach, drinking McDonald’s Coke, eating ice cream, and watching sports.

She hung wallpaper for many years, then she was an accountant for many years at Centerpoint Contractors where she met many lifelong friends.

She moved to Northwest Arkansas over 30 years ago from Greenville, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by: her parents.

Kathy is survived by: her husband of 7 years, Dan King, of Rogers, one daughter; Kaylee Bush and her husband Josh, of Rogers, three bonus children; Dillon King and his wife Amy, of Rogers, Loren Bullard and her husband David, of Rogers, Darren King, of Nashville, Tennessee, three grandchildren; Kaden, Jameson, and Daxton, and the fourth one on the way, and two brothers; Grant Lancaster, of Rogers, David Lancaster, of Rogers.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10am at the Ridge Church located in Pea Ridge with Pastor Bonnie Austin. Please bring a side dish of food, all smoked meat will be provided by the church. All are welcome to attend the meal following the service.
