Kelly Eugene Simon
June 28, 1950 until December 3, 2025

Born June 28, 1950, in Helena, Arkansas, he was the second child of Marie and Francis “Buddy” Simon. A 1968 graduate of Helena High School, he later served proudly in the Army National Guard.
Kelly passed away peacefully at home December 3rd, 2025 with Terri Simon by his side.
He spent much of his life working in his family’s restaurant businesses, contributing to well known establishments including Sir Loin’s Inn, the Ole South Pancake Houses, Simon’s Pancake House, and the Ozark Village Restaurant. His dedication, warmth, and strong work ethic were evident in every role he held.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carla Belle Myers. He is survived by Terri; children Brandi, Mark, Brad, and Kyle; bonus sons Jason and Lance; sister Carol Simmons; and brother Kerry Simon; along with many family and friends who loved him dearly. His family will forever cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 10th, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Epting Funeral Home, 709 North Walton Blvd, Bentonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Circle of Life are appreciated in honor of his memory.
