Leah Wilma Ferguson

Leah Wilma Ferguson, age 91, of Bentonville died Sunday, September 17, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 3, 1931 in Osage, Arkansas the daughter of Mary B. Shakleford and Charley Ancil Ferguson.

She loved reading and studying her bible. She enjoyed working outdoors and going yard selling. She loved spending quality time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, and two husbands; Joe McCormick and Richard “Dick” Colby.

Leah is survived by: her son; Ken McCormick and his wife Vickie, of Siloam Springs, one daughter; Karen Whitehead and her husband Richard, of Bentonville, two sisters; Marie Fulkerson, of Gentry, Nellie Travis and her husband Claude, of Alaska, eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10-11am at Epting Funeral Home located in Bentonville.

A graveside service will be Thursday at 11:15 am at Bentonville Cemetery with Pastor Robert Anderson officiating.
