Linda Carol Carte Cowger

Linda Carol Carte Cowger, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on Friday, June 11th, 1948 in St. Paul, Arkansas to Earnest and Gertie Cooper (Wages).

Linda graduated from Prairie Grove High School and has lived in and around Northwest Arkansas all her life, spending the last 20 years in Centerton. She had many hobbies, including creating flower arrangements, collecting antiques, shopping, dancing, music (especially Conway Twitty and Dolly Parton), spending time in the country, time with her dogs, and making memories with her grandchildren. She had a witty personality, stubborn, but with a huge heart, very kind, smart, and willing to help anyone who had need.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 13 years, Craig Cowger; her parents, Earnest and Gertie; one daughter, Barbara Christie; and three siblings, Reba Cooper, Helen Donovan, and Denver Cooper.

Linda is survived by her children, Mike Carte (Tammy) of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, David Carte (Emily Tabaczynski) of Bentonville, Arkansas, Carol Parker (Ed Adams) of Springdale, Arkansas, Christy Baker (John) of Goodman, Missouri; one sister, Edith Tillman of Farmington, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Nichole Fielder (Grant), Tyler Sauls (Katie), Jordan Silver (Patrick), Landon Carte, Kasie Peace, and Colton Peace; six great-grandchildren, Paisley Sauls, Riley Sauls, Brentley Peace, Taylor Forrest, Adylan Peace, and Kaston Phillips.

There will be a Visitation on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at 9:30a.m. with the Memorial Service starting at 10:30a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Gravette, Arkansas, followed by internment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Pall Bearers are Tyler Sauls, Landon Carte, Patrick Silver, Grant Fielder, Colton Peace, and David Carte.

Flowers can be sent to Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville by 2pm on Friday, October 3rd.
