Lisa Rene Lawyer

Lisa Rene Lawyer, age 52, passed away on Thursday, September 28th 2023 at Circle of Life Legacy Village Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born on Friday, October 30th 1970 in Decatur, Illinois to Ronald Eugene and Trenda Camille Hull (Downes).

Lisa grew up in Blue Mound, Illinois where she graduated from High School. During that time she met her husband-to-be, Doug Lawyer, in Taylorville, Illinois whom she married on June 16th, 1990. Her and Doug moved around Missouri for eighteen years before finally settling down in Northwest Arkansas. They became members of Mission Baptist Church in Washburn, Missouri. She loved to ride motorcycles, go thrift shopping, and spend time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father; Ronald, and her grandparents.

Lisa is survived by her husband; Doug Lawyer, her children; Colbey Lawyer (Haley) of Green Forest, Arkansas, and Corinne Lawyer (MacKenzie Threet) of Rogers, Arkansas, one brother; Jason Hull (Denise) of Murphysboro, Illinois, one grandchild; Izabella Lawyer, and her dog; Bella.

There will be a Celebration of Life service for her at Mission Baptist Church on Saturday, October 7th at 1:00 p.m., pastor Dayton Brattin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the ALS Association, or to the Mission Baptist Church Building Fund of Washburn, Mo.
