Lonnie Ryan Spicer

Lonnie Ryan Spicer, 55, of Rogers passed away on July 31, 2025, in his home in Rogers, Aransas. He was born on November 4, 1969, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Donald Reggie Spicer and Connie Sue Fuller Spicer.
Lonnie spent his early childhood in Leon, Iowa, and moved to Northwest Arkansas with his family in 1977. He graduated from Gravette High School in 1988 and received an Associate of Arts from Northwest Arkansas Community College. Lonnie was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed scuba diving, bicycling, and hiking. He also loved travel, reading (with Stephen King as his favorite author), music (Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, also known as RCPM, was his favorite band), and movies. Lonnie was known for his quick wit and enjoyed making people laugh.
He was community-minded, often volunteering his time and regularly donating blood.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Martha McDaniel Spicer of Leon, Iowa.
He is survived by his parents, Donald Reggie Spicer of Bentonville and Connie Sue Ellis of Creston, Iowa; his former spouse and love of his life, Merissa Carpenter of Bentonville; one brother, Darrell Ellis (Kat) of Creston, Iowa; one sister, Angie Vaughn (Jerry) of Leon, Iowa; two nephews, Nick and Kyle; and one niece, Lauren.
The family will hold a memorial service for Lonnie at a later date.
