Randy Lee Grimes

Randy Lee Grimes, age 72, of Centerton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, July 17, 2026. Born on May 27, 1954, in Kewanee, Illinois, Randy was the son of Duane Urban Grimes and Viola Grimes. He proudly served in the United States Navy, where he earned an Honorable Discharge.

Randy was an extremely smart, honest, and playful man with a goofy sense of humor that could light up any room. He loved collecting things and approached life with curiosity and joy. Above all, Randy cherished his family—he loved his wife Judy Grimes and his entire family more than anything, and his devotion to them was evident in everything he did.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane Urban Grimes and Viola Grimes.

Randy is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Judy Grimes whom he married in 1987; his daughters, Stephanie Aguilar and Tiffany (Joseph) Chavez; his sons, Ray (Katy) Grimes and David (Laura) Grimes; his siblings, Danny (Linda Marie) Grimes, Sharon (Keith) Johnston, and Linda Lou (Albert) Homer; along with 10 cherished grandchildren.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at a date and time to be announced. Internment will take place at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at a later date, with details to be shared by the family.
