Ruby Alderson Reed

Ruby Alderson Reed, 80 of Winslow passed away Monday, December 18th, 2023 while in hospice care at Westwood Health and Rehab in Springdale. She was born November 3rd, 1943 in Wesley, Arkansas to Carl and Murrel Alderson.

Ruby worked at Kearney/Cooper Power Systems for 37 years before retiring to enjoy spending more time with her son and grandchildren. Ruby loved taking weekend trips with her family, watching the grandkids play in the back yard and telling them stories.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Billy Reed.

She is survived by her siblings Wade Alderson, Von Alderson, Johnny Alderson, Glendon Alderson and sister Ruth Alderson; son Brian Reed and grandchildren Allison Reed, Brandon Reed, David Reed and Paisley Reed.

Ruby was laid to rest at Parks Cemetery on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 and a memorial service is to be held at Winslow Church of Christ on Thursday at 2 PM. After the service, the family will receive friends at the home of Brandon Reed, 399 Morning Shade Avenue Winslow AR.
