Shirley Ann Brown

Shirley Ann Brown, age 78, of Rogers, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord and her husband on Saturday, October 11th, 2025. She was born on Wednesday, August 27th, 1947 in Pea Ridge, Arkansas to Lloyd and Lois Lindquist (Polk).

She grew up in Northwest Arkansas and graduated Pea Ridge High School. After High School she began working for Kennametal, from where she eventually retired after 45 years. She met her husband, Butch Brown, of 43 years through mutual friends, and they were married in 1968. They had 2 children together. She loved the casino, music (Kid Rock and George Straight were a couple of her favorites), Christmas shopping and giving to others, watching The Voice on television, and spending time with and cooking for her family.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Lois; and her husband, Butch.

She is survived by her two children, Cody Brown (Christin) of Bentonville, and Lana Rodgers (Craig) of Rogers; one sister, Edna McSpiritt (Virgil) of Rogers; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one niece and one nephew.

She will be laid to rest by her husband at Walnut Hill Cemetery at 1:00p.m. on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 in a Graveside Service, Pastor Fred Clardy officiating. A Celebration of Life service will be had and announced at a later date.
