Vada Louise Gunter

Vada Louise Gunter, aged 74, passed away on January 21st, 2024. She was a beloved Mother, Wife, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Vada was born on October 23rd, 1949 in Tontitown. She went on to attain a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Arkansas.

Vada worked as a teacher and professor across Arkansas. Throughout her career, she was known for her hard work and dedication teaching Math and English as a Second Language. But more than anything, Vada was a devoted mother. She loved spending time with her children, crafting, playing games especially cards.

Vada is survived by her loving husband, Cal Gunter, Her Sisters Liz Bausinger and Gina Beckford and husband Jack Beckford her children, Mackie Chandler and spouse Rick Kellogg, Cal Gunter VI and wife April, her grandson Cade Gunter, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held for family and friends Saturday, January 27th 2024 at 10am, at the Holiday Inn and Convention Center in Springdale, AR. Reception to follow.
